Through hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and exposure to innovative approaches in care, participants gain valuable insights into both traditional and holistic mental health practices. By contributing to specialized clinical projects, Village Visionaries empowers students to develop skills, expand their knowledge, and make a positive impact in the community.
Internship Opportunities with
The Kahala Clinic for Children and Family
We are proud to work in close partnership with The Kahala Clinic, a multidisciplinary psychiatric clinic specializing in comprehensive care for individuals and families. As part of our internship program, students have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects alongside experienced providers.
In 2024, our interns completed a slideshow showcasing the clinic’s expanded services, including sleep studies, rhinomanometry, brain mapping, and CPAP management. These projects allow interns to gain hands-on experience in clinical workflows, research, and patient education. By working directly with providers, interns develop valuable skills while contributing to innovative care solutions.
